Earlier this month, Matthew from the International team travelled to Spain to present at a Lunch and Learn event we were hosting alongside one of our Spanish Channel Partners, ImageSA21, at the University of Valladolid. At the event, Matthew presented to all twenty-four attendees on the many benefits of using TurningPoint to engage learners and additionally how to best use our interactive technology to create active classrooms. Also presenting on the day was one of Turning Technologies’ distinguished educators, Carlos González Morcillo, who is a professor at the University of Castilla-La Mancha. Carlos shared with the group his own personal experience of using TurningPoint to teach, as well as how his students are performing better through the use of our easy-to-use engagement and assessment solution.
Eduardo Antolín, CEO of ImageSA21, had the following to say after the event, “Last Friday we enjoyed a very productive training session with Turning Technologies at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Valladolid. Starting the day off, Matthew explained how easy it can be to use TurningPoint within PowerPoint and further discussed some of its most interesting features that can increase active participation amongst learners. Also at the event was Carlos, from the University of Valladolid, who discussed the many advantages of using TurningPoint in university classes and the successful results from his students that have been achieved.
After the event, all of the attendees provided very positive feedback and seemed eager to put into practice everything they had learned from the day. We would like to thank Turning Technologies for their assistance and collaboration on this event. From this we hope to increase the use of TurningPoint throughout the University of Valladolid, as well as across other faculties and universities in the region.”
